Over the span of two decades, author, columnist, consultant and speaker Carol Bradley Bursack cared for a neighbor and six elderly family members. Bradley Bursack has been interviewed on many national radio shows, including NPR's Talk of the Nation, The Ron Ross Show, The Parent Care Show, Dr. Anne Hallward's Courageous Conversations and Senior Solutions, produced by Detroit Area Agency on Aging. She has been interviewed and quoted in magazines and newspapers and by major websites around the world, including Family Circle, Quick and Simple, Heart Insight (American Heart Association), North Jersey Media Group, The Leader-Telegram, Tampa Tribune, the Sydney Morning Herald, WebMD, Next Avenue, Huffington Post Live, Diabetes Focus and Salon.com. She also speaks on caregiving issues to groups of all sizes.
Bradley Bursack is a member of AARP, CAPS (Children of Aging Parents), the National Caregivers Advisory Panel, the Caregiver Action Network (CAN) and the National Council of Hospice and Palliative Professionals (NCHPP). She is also an honorary board member of the Well Spouse Association, as well as on the National Advisory Board of Sage for Aging.
As an expert in her field, Bradley Bursack has written over two thousand articles for national publications. She is also a contributing author to "The Media Librarian's Handbook," (Facet Publishing, UK 2008) and contributing author to: "Dementia: Frank and Linda's story: New approaches, new understanding, new hope" (Lion-Monarch, March 2010).
